Neil spent 19 years controlling the accounting function in a multi-franchise dealer group and since joining ASE in 2006, he has built a tremendous reputation for helping dealers with issues that compromise their profitability. Neil is dedicated to designing and implementing processes that revolutionise management information and make a real difference to the bottom line.
Alun has 15 years' experience in audit and accountancy practice and joined ASE in 2007. He heads the management team in the audit department, and managing a portfolio of ASE's statutory audit clients. Alun also oversees the deal file audit of the entire dealer network of a major manufacturer, and has led a number of critical business reviews.
Michelle worked for 11 years in audit in practice before joining the ASE tax team in 2004 and is now the motor trade's leading VAT specialist. Michelle also manages our corporation tax compliance process and delivers bespoke corporate tax planning solutions to ASE's clients.
Earl initially joined the business within the Audit Team, gaining extensive first-hand experience of the Motor Trade. In 2001 he transferred to the Business Management Department to focus on delivery, development and design of Composite Business Management Systems across the Motor Trade. Since 2010 Earl as Project Director has focused on co-ordinating the new business systems delivery.
Qualifying as an ACCA with ASE, Paul has worked exclusively within motor retail where he manages the audit and other financial consultancy projects for both manufacturers and dealer groups, including a secondment to a large PLC group as a divisional finance director. An expert on financial modeling, Paul currently works extensively for a major manufacturer carrying out financial consultancy on struggling dealers across Europe.
Paul is ACCA / AAT qualified with over 13 years experience in accounts, audit and finance. For the last 6 years he has built his reputation as a motor trade specialist with ASE, tackling a variety of projects, both audit and non-audit. During this time, Paul has worked directly for many of the major franchises, including Mercedes, Mazda and SEAT.
After 10 years in general accounting practices, Andrew joined ASE in 1999 and has been helping dealers with their accounting needs and the implementation of improved financial systems. Moving into ASE's Business Management division, Andrew now plays a key role in the development of our data collection and reporting systems. This cross-disciplinary expertise is indicative of the talent within ASE.
