Report & Dashboard Developer

The Report & Dashboard Developer collaborates with the Software developers, BI database administrators, application analysts, and report end users to identify requirements and develop specifications.

This position has primary responsibility to write individual reports and create dashboards as well as work with the analytics team to validate the data, and develop visualization solutions for a meaningful end user experience. The report writer must possess a deep understanding of system build, workflow, and patterns of use to design, write, validate, and modify reports that meet the needs of the report consumers in their respective area's.


  • Design, Develop & Maintain reports using InfoBurst
  • Design, Develop & Maintain dashboards using Dashboards (XCelsius)
  • Gather business requirements from cross functional team
  • Create technical specs & documentation based on the business requirements
  • Work with business units to define requirements and support business initiatives as they relate to data visualization
  • Develop Data Visualization standards, guidelines & best practices

Qualifications/Required :

  • Developing interactive Reports
  • Developing interactive Dashboards (XCelsius) & Scorecards
  • Experience with SQL Server (2008 / 2012) & T-SQL
  • Working Knowledge of Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally

Mixed Tax Manager

You are likely to be CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a forward thinking attitude and with at least 3 years' experience in corporate tax and personal tax.

The role will be primarily advisory work and you will be responsible for providing direct support to the senior tax manager and tax partner on a wide range of corporate tax and personal tax advisory work including mergers, demergers, share schemes, valuations, aspect enquiries, restructuring, due diligence on acquisitions and disposals, cash and profit extraction, planning with trusts and IHT planning. You may also be required to complete complex personal and tax returns if and when required.

The client base is predominantly OMB's and advisory projects will also include succession and exit planning for the director/shareholders.

There are excellent structured progression opportunities on offer to Senior Tax Manager and beyond in the short to medium term.

The firm is unique in their industry based in South Manchester with a national client base. UK wide travel will be required on a regular basis to deliver the client facing service.

Corporate Tax Compliance Manager

We are now recruiting for a Corporate Tax Compliance Manager to join our Top 50 firm based in South Manchester to strengthen our corporate compliance team.

The responsibilities include the following:

  • Review of computations prepared by the compliance team and ensuring that tax returns are completed within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Liaison with the audit team to ensure completion of computations for larger groups of companies and advising clients on quarterly payments.
  • Managing the compliance process to ensure payment and filing deadlines are met.
  • Setting, review and control of corporation tax compliance budgets with Senior Managers.
  • Mentoring and managing tax trainees on the compliance process.

ASE intend to develop and expand their client portfolio and corporate tax compliance team in the short term. The role is ideally suited for someone who is CTA qualified with a strong corporate tax background looking for a solid long term position. The dynamic and growing UK wide client base in the motor industry will offer a challenging role with many issues to consider during the compliance process including matters relating to property, investments, share schemes, acquisitions and disposals. Full or part-time positions will be considered depending on experience and circumstances.

Audit Senior

In this role you will be providing assurance services to a range of small-mid sized enterprises. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • preparation of accounts and financial statements;
  • assist in maintaining and developing client relationships;
  • audit of companies in the automotive sector;
  • design and implementation of audit plans;
  • ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and time frame;
  • manage a team of trainees while on assignment;
  • report to manager and/or partner
  • responsible for development and mentoring of trainees and staff;

  • Be fully qualified (ACA / CA / ACCA)
  • Have strong technical knowledge
  • Have experience of leading a team on audit engagements
  • Be capable of working on your own initiative
