Product Manager

The Product Manager is primarily responsible for prospecting, selling and maintaining AutoAlert subscriptions and services. The role is field-based.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establish, retain and develop relationships with new clients
  • Train customers and first line support in the operation of AutoAlert
  • Procure and close deals on behalf of the company
  • Comply with the company's established policies and procedures
  • Weekly reports to managers
  • Updating of activity on CRM
  • 50% of time spent in the field in selling activities with prospective and existing clients
  • Attendance of internal and external events

Experience

  • Educated to at least degree level
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience is required. Position requires sufficient selling skills and product knowledge with industry knowledge preferred.
  • Great Communication Skills, interacting with customers and presenting to internal and external colleagues
  • Understands business implications of decisions.
  • High level of professionalism with a committed and responsible approach.
  • Intuitive of the customers' needs, listen and respond in tactful manner
  • Inspires the trust of others; works with integrity and ethically upholds organisational values
  • Sets and achieves challenging goals; demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles; measures self against standard of excellence, in a timely manner

Mixed Tax Manager

You are likely to be CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a forward thinking attitude and with at least 3 years' experience in corporate tax and personal tax.

The role will be primarily advisory work and you will be responsible for providing direct support to the senior tax manager and tax partner on a wide range of corporate tax and personal tax advisory work including mergers, demergers, share schemes, valuations, aspect enquiries, restructuring, due diligence on acquisitions and disposals, cash and profit extraction, planning with trusts and IHT planning. You may also be required to complete complex personal and tax returns if and when required.

The client base is predominantly OMB's and advisory projects will also include succession and exit planning for the director/shareholders.

There are excellent structured progression opportunities on offer to Senior Tax Manager and beyond in the short to medium term.

The firm is unique in their industry based in South Manchester with a national client base. UK wide travel will be required on a regular basis to deliver the client facing service.

Audit Senior

We now are recruiting for Audit Seniors to join our dedicated team of professionals. ASE offer a competitive package, attractive benefits including a company car and a dedicated training academy for all employees.

In this role you will be providing all ranges of assurance services to small-mid sized businesses, and is not just audit and accounting. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of accounts and financial statements;
  • Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships;
  • Audit of companies principally in the automotive sector;
  • Assist or lead a team to perform a wide variety of assignments, including due-diligence, corporate finance, business reviews, internal control reviews, special projects for manufacturers,
  • Design and implementation of audit plans;
  • Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and time frame;
  • Manage a team of trainees while on assignment;
  • Report to manager and/or partner
  • Responsible for development and mentoring of trainees and staff;
  • Representing the firm at networking events, and identifying opportunities to grow our business.

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Be studying towards or fully qualified (ACA / CA / ACCA)
  • Have strong technical knowledge and be a good communicator
  • Have experience of leading a team on audit engagements
  • Be capable of working on your own initiative
  • Be willing to travel nationally
  • Have good commercial skills and an interest in networking and business development
