Dealermatch Transaction Update

With the majority of motor dealers having a relatively strong year so far, recent weeks have seen an increase in transactional activity. Vertu Motors plc and Cambria Automobiles being the two Top 20 dealers that have recently hit the press with acquisitions.
David Kendrick, Transaction Manager at ASE said: -
"Over the past couple of months we have seen a significant increase in the number of business approaching us for acquisition opportunities. It appears that a number of single site operators are quite open to approaches as they find themselves exposed to larger groups consolidating around them. January may see a number of transactions taking place as acquirers complete their deals and work towards the March new registrations market."
