As there was limited financial planning or budgeting in the Mazda network across Europe, Mazda engaged ASE because the Projector system was unique in providing a focus on cash flow as well as profit and loss. Additionally, as specialist automotive accountants ASE were best placed to understand, model and roll out this tool. Particularly significant was the automatic calculation of costs of holding and funding stock, and the instant feedback between stock funding and cash flow.

Projector has now been rolled out across Europe and Mazda are using it to understand budget-to-actual variances, taking corrective action where needed to improve profitability.
