Daily Operating Controls, Review and Implementation

When a business is profitable, losses are not obvious in the departments which require additional attention. It is essential therefore that the monthly performance targets are broken down into daily targets for all operating departments.

At ASE our motor trade specialists can assist the Dealer Principal in the following;

  • Breaking down the monthly budget into daily achievement targets for all departments. Implementing Daily Operating Controls enabling the management to be sure they are "keeping their finger on the pulse" of the dealership.
  • Ensuring the operating control sheets are being completed
  • Reviewing progress via the key control sheet, this is usually faxed to our office daily for the first month.
  • A visit to the dealership after 3 months to review progress.

Historically we have found that dealers do not have this information immediately available either because there has been a lack of focus or the accounting systems cannot provide the detail required. As a result of our review we would be able to help you extract this information and use it to improve the profitability of your dealership.
