Due Diligence Services

The due diligence process is designed to offer piece of mind to the acquirer and their funders, allowing the decision to be taken on the viability of a transaction as soon in the cycle as possible.

The process is most commonly seen during a business sale to a new owner - however this may change where a 3rd party funder wants assurance as to the viability or "constitution" of a business that they are to invest in. The application of such a process needs to be tailored to the business sector. We are uniquely placed enabling us to identify:

  • Franchise risk - how profitable are the brands?
  • Market risk - what are the risks of the brand?
  • Product risk - what is available to the market?

The specialised team that undertake these assignments are on hand to assist the prospective purchaser throughout the process, with the aim on maximising what you get for the investment. Often things "aren't what they seem to be" and to this extent we offer clients the service of a pre-deal evaluation on a prospective business, a process that has been known to minimise exposure and most importantly, cost.
