HMRC Advisory Fuel Rates for Company Car Users

For those of you with employees who continue to use company cars, you might have missed that HMRC released new advisory fuel rates from 1 March.  All the rates can be found on the gov.uk website via this link https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/advisory-fuel-rates/advisory-fuel-rates-from-1-march-2016 but please be aware that a number of the rates have changed from last quarter.

The old rates can be used for up to a month from the date any new rates apply, but with the low level of mileage for most employees this quarter, it is also unlikely that any differences caused by using incorrect rates will be large.
