Continuing global expansion ASE Automotive Solutions plans to grow local presence to help National Sales Companies and Dealers improve profitability
Manchester, October 19th 2020 – ASE Automotive Solutions, the automotive industry’s trusted advisor, today announced the opening of its Australian Office in Sydney, as part of its on-going global expansion strategy. Its goal is to provide Australian National Sales Companies (NSCs) and their dealer networks with expert business management and performance optimisation services. The company is also appointing Steve McEwan, Country Director, who has worked extensively in the automotive industry in Australia, helping leading brands and their dealer networks to understand their composite financial data and adopt actionable improvement plans to maximise profitability and performance.
The Australian automotive market is a mature sector, which has created significant competition and consolidation between brands and their dealerships to grow and retain customers. These market conditions present an ideal opportunity for ASE Automotive Solutions (ASE) to leverage its industry-leading business management services, combined with local market expert consultancy. Based on the key performance indicators (KPIs) that it helped to pioneer and have become the mainstay of the automotive industry, ASE will enable its Australian clients to understand their composite financial data and identify trends, which will drive efficiencies and support sales strategies that drive growth. The company will also work with dealer networks to create Performance Improvement Programmes, which address critical requirements including sales training, capital management and upskilling staff.

Steve McEwan joins ASE having spent nearly 20 years in the Australian automotive industry working for brands such as Toyota and Lexus. A certified accountant Steve has built up expertise in understanding how to help NSCs and their dealer networks better manage their operations to drive profitability and identify efficiencies. He has performed a variety of roles in marketing operations understanding how to measure and value the return-on-investment of investments in marketing and how they affect sales performance. He has also worked alongside automotive brands and dealerships as a consultant to help understand their business priorities and develop strategies to maximise dealer network performance. Steve will bring these local experiences and insights to bear with ASE’s growing Australian customer base and he will also be responsible for growing the team, as well as adding new clients to the roster.

ASE is currently recruiting experienced automotive consultants for the Australian market, as it seeks to ramp up its operation. It is supporting a number of automotive brands locally, including JLR, Maserati, Bentley and Rolls Royce, but it also looking to provide its services to new customers, who want to drive performance improvement and maximise retail profitability.
